Persian Cats Rescue LongShadow Cattery feels that if you "breed you should rescue" or at least help with rescue. As a responsible breeder, LongShadow Cattery does its best to help the local shelters with Persians cats that have been surrendered to the shelters for various reasons. The needs of the Persian is much greater because of the long coats that require constant care. We rescue, when space allows, Persians that come into the local shelters. We do this at are own expense. All cats that come in through rescue are vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and felv and spayed/neutered before being offered for adoption into their new homes. They are evaluated as to disposition and needs of the cat. References are required before adoptions are approved.
